Transformers
Lehman Transformers has been in the OEM (Original equipment manufacturing) transformer, coil and product manufacturing industry for more than 50 years. Our core business is the volume production of wound components, electrical products and repair of transformers.
Our engineering policy where ever possible is to work in conjunction with our customers at all stages of the design and implementation process or alternatively design the equipment for the customer.
Large Transformers
Our core OEM business is winding coils, high and low frequency transformers, CT’s, toroidal transformers and transformers for military use.
Transformer Rewinding
We rewind transformers and coils, removing them from the product, repairing, servicing and re-installation.
Small Transformers
We developed and manufactured air coils for tuners, voice coils for loudspeakers, degaussing coils for picture tubes, and all types of coils and transformers.
Supply
In addition to the manufacture of small transformers, we can supply 3 phase air natural or oil cooled transformers and large battery chargers suitable for bank charging automotive batteries.

In addition to this we have designed and manufactured a range of special replacement transformers for Transnet for use on the railways. We also rewind transformers and coils.
